Hi everyone!
Sorry I’ve been missing for the past couple weeks. The busy bug came around once more and this time it was all about auditioning for the Okoboji Summer Theatre. We’ll know the results in 3 days and I just can’t wait! In the mean time, here’s our season. If you’re looking to make some awesome summer plans, take the trek up to Iowa: hang by the lakes, ride the rides at Arnolds Park, and come see some of the best theatre there is!
13 days of class left. I can hardly believe it.
Oh and I’m registering for my senior year of college tomorrow. This all just so bazaar. =)
One of my favorite ND games.
And I believe I recently visited the location on which it was based.

Some of my top favorites.

This is the Fulton Mural. Probably the biggest piece of art in Fulton, but I always forget about it until I see it when I go to pick up/drop off my BFF Chelsea Rook. They painted it on what used to be a crappy Movie Gallery (or Movie Gal, as the broken light letters displayed) but is now the new Mexican restaurant. (We only have one other, Jaliscos. The best place to flirt with Mexican waiters.) I think the coolest thing about it is that the people on the mural are based on real Fultonians.

In the bottom left you’ll see a baptism taking place, and to the right, the Farmer’s Market! Up top the farmers are hard at work.

These might be horses or “Missouri” mules, but I’m pretty sure the building up top is the Churchill Memorial. I’m surprised it isn’t bigger.

This…I’m not quite sure. Chelsea thinks they’re the stone masons. I think they’re making a quilt. :]

THIS is my favorite, because those painted figures represent the cast of The Music Man,a production we did like five years ago. That guy playing Harold Hill was a friend of mine from high school. I have no idea why they put him on a mural.

This one depicts a beautiful spot on our walking trail where the trees engulf you, and there’s a wall of stone like a small cliff. Its one of my favorite spots in Fulton.

I have NO IDEA where those eskimo guys came from. This part of the mural confuses me, but at least its pretty.
The end.
